No problem at all, I still knew all the moves and even overtook a few old men along the tracks! And one of them even had skis older than mine, didn’t think that was possible…
I normally run along these paths, which is a good thing. First 5K took me 44 minutes, the second 47. It wasn’t as hard work as I remembered, but saying that I might not manage to get out of bed tomorrow. Only niggle is my left foot – one toe hurts like hell, and even wearing a sock is painful. Still – small price to pay for 90 minutes of bliss! I do suspect flipflops will be a bit cold in minus 10 or so, but I’ll worry about that tomorrow…
you look a natural!
ReplyDeleteDave: Thanks :)) I spent many hours skiing in the woods around my house when growing up, and was quite impressed I remembered how to do it!
