Crappy session
Couldn’t have asked for better conditions. Grey, dull weather with a light drizzle and no wind, and myself in a bit of a bad mood. Just the way I like it. The plan was to see how my legs would behave during a quiet half marathon in the park, all by myself. First long run since Paris. Apparently more than I thought, after about 10K the back of my knee, sort of inside it, started complaining. Stretching didn’t really do any difference, but some drills felt ok. 2K later I had to stop running and limp home with a straight left leg – bending it was really uncomfortable and stiff, and also swinging it forward.
Iced it once back home, put some support on it which helped a little. Still stiff today – I hope some massage will do the trick.
