On my toes

Since my left foot has been moody the last few days I decided to torment it a bit. Longish drills session (long for drills that is, 3.6k) in my Kanadia Trails that is, neutral shoes that really are no good for my pronating feet unless running up hills – but if I avoid landing on my heels they’re not too bad on the flat either. Makes me really concentrate on my stride!

Kanadia Trail

Also – comfort pace in them is about 6:07, which feels just like 6:28-ish in my Nirvanas, so I guess trying to retrain my feet not to land so hard on the heels can only be a good thing. Bring on the trails!

Speaking of trails, I’ve got my eyes on this race, but not sure if I dare. My dad seems to have planned the day already, complete with picnic basket and everything, so maybe I should just give in and enter, what do you think? If not the full 30k, maybe the 15k version?

  2. Cheers DD :) It was very long, but I know what to expect now, should I ever be mad enough to do another... 8 marathons sounds crazy at this point, but I guess I have a few years to do it eh :)
