Alternative training

Yesterday I hoovered up a few gigantic (I thought) spiders – extremely traumatic and stressful (pulse-raising, so “workout”, no?). Also made cherry juice, yum! I was meant to run a few laps in the woods where the wild boar live near my dad’s house, but stupidly forgot my shoes and didn’t fancy meeting the boar while barefoot (I did contemplate this).

Today, after what was meant to be a speedy 5k (too hot and sticky, even at 10 am!), I picked a big bucket full of cherries (for eating!) and not quite as much black currants (for jam). Both hard work, especially since I climbed the tree for the cherries!

  2. Ben: I sure will :) I ate a tree-load of plums once, that was... er... fun.

  4. DD: Sometimes I wonder myself... :)
I've yet to spot the boar though. Not sure if I should go looking really.
