Me, stubborn? Naahh…

The thunder finally stopped! On with the shoes and out the door, at half eight Saturday evening. What a party animal… I’d planned a route that would end on streets with lights, so wasn’t too worried.

Sadly I’d forgotten my complete inability to read maps… The route was meant to be a rectangle with one side backing on to the local airport (Ryanair’s Scandinavian hub) but failed to figure out exactly where the road in question actually was. Instead I ended up on a quite scary road with no hard shoulder whatsoever, instead just a white line along the edge of the tarmac and next to it a deep ditch. Next time I’ll run the opposite direction for sure!

Just over 20k in the end, including a few wrong turns and backtracking, a visit into the woods (this place sure beats London in that department), and a phone call to my dad to try to find said lost road.

(Satur)day’s core: A few attempted yoga poses, found in magazine – one was a type of “dancer” of some sort. I need a mirror…
