Fartlek!

No chance of evil low pulse training today, instead fartlek for an hour with the running group! Woohoo - that was fun! I think even more so after the traumatic last slow session I did. 11.1K in total, which is probably the longest fartlek session I've done, but why not do it properly the one run a week I'm not doing low pulse right? The stupid calf started to hurt but then stopped, fingers crossed it'll not get worse. I'm actually starting to think it's ITB-related, so will do some extra stretches and hopefully combined with the Maffetone action it'll go away soon.

  2. Dave: Oh yeah, every finger possible! At least there was no real pain, only a sort of tight feeling. I love speed when being told to sprint, not quite the same when on my own.
