Just haven’t really been hooked up to proper internet for a while… It’s really how pathetic how dependent I am to the virtual world! Anyway, since my last visit I have, in a very condensed version:
- Moved to Sweden, proper. All boxes arrived in good shape, even a few days early. All unpacked, fairly well organised and we know where most things are.
- Picked up the cat from my dad where he’s stayed while we’ve been Londoners. He hasn’t got too much fur after a haircut so looks like a chicken. I’ll see if I can catch him with my camera – pure comedy, poor thing!
- Caught, kept and almost got rid of a stupid flu bug – caught it on the plane over so was a wee bit paranoid it was the swine flu but it seems it wasn’t. Phew!
- Joined my old running group for a lovely little fartlek/hill session. Great to have some company for a change!
- Found a gorgeous little route by the “river” (more like a stream, really) that runs right through Nyköping – and in fact almost right by our house. (More pics to follow!)
On the menu tomorrow: Visit by friend and her two kids – one of which is my god-daughter (poor child). Then if I feel ok another running group session, in new shoes no less!

nice to see you back blogging. can't see why you left the smoke behind really ;) glad life is good
ReplyDeletegorgeous running trail! need to take advantage of that more. :)
ReplyDeleteDD: It's good to be back! Although not done too much running lately, stupid lurgies put a stop to that. All this greenery and clean air is making me a bit lightheaded actually, scary! ;)
ReplyDeleteLindsay: You don't say :) Short enough to be a fall out of bed and head out just to wake up-run, while breakfast coffee's brewing! Or just for warmups, quite a few steps and sharp turns so need to pay attention.
