7-6-5

Tried a new thing today, instead of a couple of k’s with a negative split I did a split-split. I have a short route that would be perfect for 1K intervals if it didn’t include a few sharp turns and 2 lots of steps, but it’s a nice route along the little river that runs right by the house (and it can be made a lot longer if needed). Only a short run today, I was meant to work but somehow the day went by and it was the run that had to give…

Paces for the 3 loops were almost perfectly even at 7:00, 6:01 and 5:16/k (I’m blaming the steps for the 16 seconds…). I’ll have to see if I can program my garmin to keep me at even steadier paces, as I need to work on keeping a steady pace, and of course a good sprint finish could come in handy one day!

DSC01428Gert Fredriksson thought the weather was a bit crap, but I like running in the rain!

  2. Cheers Lindsay! I'm usually too lazy to bother but hopefully I'm on a roll now :)
