Grounded
Monday is running group day. But no – my stupid calf decided immediately that it didn’t want to run today. It feels like the top of the calf muscle has turned into a wooden stick. Typical, as I felt great otherwise, no lead legs in sight…
I’m guessing that I overdid Saturday’s drills a bit, plus I’ve not done the exercises my chiro prescribed, so I’ve only got myself to blame.
For now though: rest, and chocolate pralines. Coach Erik was adamant this would cure me in no time at all, and who am I to argue…

ReplyDeleteBen: Down the drain they go, plus I'm letting the whole group (13 in total) down. It sucks.
ReplyDeleteit may suck... but you need to take care of yourself! i'm sure you'd rather run for the long haul than just the short term. hang in there, you can re-start the streak.
