Fun week ahead:
Wednesday: lunch time-run with a guy at work who looks like he can keep up with a bunch of Kenyans, but refuses point blank to say what pace we’ll do. I might live, and I might not.
Thursday: ride the bike to work, 28 k following the road but we’ll take the scenic route past the lambs in the fields, and pretty woods. Apparently.
Friday: bike home.
Saturday / Sunday: I’ve asked for a guided tour along a trail where I manage to get lost every time I attempt to run it, and I’m told this’ll happen this weekend. It can mean anything from 10 k along a nice gravel road, or 25 k trail, I don’t know…
And I’d planned to do one session each of fartlek/intervals and drills. Right. But I guess since I’m resting today I’ll be fine. Right?
