Counting 1, 2, 3...

I seem to be the only one at work who isn't wearing a pedometer. Solution: nick my dad's. Since I don't have a kid to drop off and also pick up 4000 steps from home like one colleague I'll have to rely on my running to be able to compete. Failing that I have a cunning plan: to use the printer furthest away from my room. I'm doing this anyway since every printer I've used so far have notes attached saying "broken - engineer on the way". Hmm - I blame the spreadsheets. It's always the spreadsheets... Friday night, 7:40 - I'm lucky if I get up to 200 steps before the end of today... (and then once I smash the department record maybe I'll get some company on my planned lunchtime runs when the snow's gone...?)

  2. Dave: It's only to prove a point! (I see yours though) These are middle-aged women who think they're so good when they take a 5-minute walk to the canteen every lunch, and count it as exercise...
