I’m fed up with the ice. Hard as… er… ice? roads and bike paths are not for me. I don’t mind the snow, even the hard-pressed variety plus my spikes work fine on hard snow, even knee-deep snow is ok, but the ice isn’t that much fun. OK, so the spikes give a fairly good grip but I feel like I’m falling over anyway – I don’t think they fit my (tiny) shoes properly.
Really, is this any good? And this path isn’t even sanded, it’s small pebbles about a foot-width apart.
A few metres of tarmac here and there…
…but barely wide enough even for my small shoes.
I did what was meant to be a fast 10k yesterday. Ha! With the ice it took me just over an hour. And this with a reasonable stretch of fast(for me) sub-5-minute/k pace!
Please can spring hurry up and arrive already?
im with you there

Dave: Not fair! We're supposedly meant to get more snow! Anything up to 16 inches over the next 24 hours! Yay... :/
