Training plan said 5k fartlek…

…but I modified it ever so slightly, and did 5k on the snowboard instead. Same thing, no? Full speed downhill, and “rest” in the lift. It’s only a very tiny slope, 320m long and elevation a scary 60m, but it’s located a mere 5k from home… And there was powder!!

I love the modern lift passes. Made of paper. How convenient.

And yep, the flu-ey feeling is gone. My favourite medicine – sleep – did the trick once again…

  1. haha. well the one time i tried snowboarding i *was* sore the next day so i know it's not just a breeze. glad you are feeling better!
