Like a young calf let out on grass
I need to put breaks on my new shoes, I can hardly keep up with them! I'd planned (well, the coach really) an easy run today, 8K in 48 minutes, but the shoes flew along the road and if I hadn't stopped for traffic a few times I'm not sure what time I'd ended up with. I managed to come in at 45 minutes in the end, at a faster pace than the Tjejmilen 10K last year when I tried my hardest to finish in under 55 minutes. Felt great though, legs were really happy to run freely.
I added some drills at the end, I'm really starting to notice a difference after doing these since November!
Next week the coach has prescribed two mini runs before the race, one is meant to be Easy easy easy! and the other Dead slow. Sounds great. I'd like proper antsy legs on Sunday!
