"The shoes are in the post"

After waiting for several weeks for a member of staff to pick up my Nirvana 5's from the Brighton store and bring them this side of the Thames (she seems to be on holiday for, like, ever...) the store manager has now given up and put them in the post for me. Fingers crossed they don't behave like cheques... I'd hoped to be able to break them in before Paris but what the hell, this evil bug should be gone by the time they arrive, right? Right?
